Though one suggestion is this part — Recognizing when your body wants to go to the past — to me seems is the path TO the solution. The solution might be more about letting go of the past by accepting those familiar feelings no longer serve you to move towards the future image you’re creating for yourself. And consciously stop your body and mind from going back to the past ny choosing the future image. Stop looking at old pictures, thinking about the ex or lost one, listening to sentimental songs etc… choose to program your mind to think about the future image and the feelings you’ll have once that image is your reality. That makes me feel good. :)
